Join us on the 5th of December for the Cluarankwai Judo Club Annual Kids Competition — a fun, relaxed competition environment where young judoka can show off their skills, sportsmanship, and build their confidence!

This event is open to all Junior members of the club, grouped by age and grade where possible to ensure fair, encouraging matches.

Parents and friends are invited to attend and support the players. Every player will go home with a medal there’s also the chance to win club trophies for effort and technique shown on the day and throughout the year!

The event includes a coach led warm-up, individual competitions, team competitions & medal presentation. There’s also chances to win prizes in our raffle and the chance to win club merch and Judo suits.

Cost

This competition is free to all junior club members!

There will be a £2 admission fee for spectators which can be paid on the day in cash. Under 16's Free.

Raffle and Hidden Mat game

Tickets will be on sale with the chance to win various prizes including a new Judo suit. Tickets will be available for purchase with cash only, please try to bring change if possible.

Contests will run as follows

Kai Grade (under 8’s): 1 Minute throw for throw & 1 minute contest, first Ippon score wins but the contest will continue to allow for more experience on the mat.

Mon Grade: 3 Minute contests, first Ippon score wins and ends the contest.

Competition Schedule (Approx)

Check in: 8:45am - 9:30am

Warm up: 9:45am - 10:00am

Individual competitions: 10:00am - 11:30am

Team competitions: 11:45am - 12:30pm

Medal and trophy presentations: 12:35pm - 1:00pm

Tea, Coffee & Refreshments

​Our cafe will be open to serve tea, coffee, water, juice, biscuits, sandwiches and cakes. The cafe will accept both cash and contactless card payments.

Photographs and Video Recording

Photographs and video recording of some fights will take place at this event and could be used for promotional purposes including publication on our website, social media and other advertising. By completing the entry form and attending this event you indicate your acceptance of these conditions and consent to the taking and use of photographs and videos.

Parents will also be allowed to take photos and videos throughout the event.

Photos taken by the club including action and medal photos will be shared via email to members who attend.
